/Basic definition of travel – you make a journey, typically of some length or abroad./
My thoughts about travel, for me, it is the most amazing and wonderful experience you will never going to forget about! Exploring different cultures from other countries, sight-seeing wonderful attractions across the world and mostly tasting various delicacies and experiencing magnificent festivals from distant places, I could say it can be the most unforgettable adventure you will ever encounter in your life! I guarantee you that.
Let me share with you some of my travel experiences I had a few years ago. I was actually nominated by one of my friend travel blogger Jonin. These 12 questions are all from her blog. She told me that the images should be taken from my Instagram as a screenshot of it but I’d like to post it in a different way since I rarely use it, though, still, I’m going to use the same Instagram ratio of 1:1. So, here it goes:
1. Why do you travel?
Generally, to see the reality and to seek the real me.
2. What’s your travel bag?
Usually, I don’t use any bags when I travel not too far from my place. But I do rarely use my mini-backpack. So I can place all my things inside the bag.
3. Five things you always have on your carry on?
I would consider this as my “a never to forget to bring” must have before I stepped out from my room. Not to mention, I bring these things every single day! I always bring my Cellular Phone, Earplugs, Camera, Pocket Money, Tablet.
4. Your earliest travel memory?
Back when I was still a little cutie pie last 2002, I traveled the Philippines popular White Beach, Boracay with my family and relatives from the Island of Malay, Aklan, Philippines! It was my first ever travel outside my place.
5. Your favorite travel memory?
When I had a hologram picture with the popular girl group, 2NE1 during my carnival tour in Everland Resort at Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea! 🙂 I was feeling dizzy that day so please excuse my bare face >.<
6. A destination that’s on top of your bucket list?
I’d like to go to Japan this time! Although I’d like to travel again in South Korea (tie-up as my top destination bucket list) and perhaps live there~ */giggles/* But I’m still hoping for a tour in Japan. I’d really like to see the real Japanese Culture and of course, TOKYO!! Especially wanted to personally meet Pikachu at TOKYO POKEMON CENTER ;u;
7. Your next trip?
Maybe, travel domestic trips? I still don’t know yet~
8. How do you keep busy on the plane?
There’s nothing special about it. When I’m on the plane, I often ask for a blanket and headphones then have myself a deep sleep.
9. The most memorable souvenir you bought from the trip?
A set of different souvenirs before we went home from Hong Kong~
10. The weirdest dish you’ve ever tried?
I can’t remember what is the name of the dish, it was sort of a Chinese food.
11. The best dish you’ve had?
It was 삼계탕 (Ginseng Chicken Soup)! At heart, one of my favorite dishes from South Korea. A hot, steaming, delicious dish that features a small chicken stuffed with rice, ginseng, garlic, and jujube with a matching red wine~ I’d like to have it again once I can visit Korea again ^^.
12. The best travel soundtrack of each country & cities you’ve visited?
Hong Kong – Happy (2NE1)
South Korea – Into The New World (Girls Generation)
Manila – See You Again (Wiz Khalifa)
Cebu City – Luvly, Merry-Go-Round (Pipo Angels)
Iloilo City- Dance With My Father (Luther Vandross)
Bacolod City – Friendship (Okazaki Ritsuko)
(Note: I am not fond myself listening to English songs, maybe a few. I am only rooting myself to Korean and Otaku Music, my sincere apology.)
